isn't this life of ours so very grand!
even on it's worst day it's still the best ever!
o god, I am so so so very blessed to have you in my life!

being out in the sticks

I'll take Asia anytime where it comes to connectivity. The USA & Europe still have not solved these problems. Well & good if you're smack in the middle of one of their great cities - even then you're hard pressed to find a true hotspot.
And anywhere else. . . .you're truly out on a limb!

today is the birthday of Mahavatar Babaji
It is your choice to think and feel in any manner you wish.

- Initiation to understand there could well be more going on than you realize
- Perfect Relationship so that you have a better understanding of the Guru Disciple Relationship
It bears repeating that as we move closer to 2012, personal patterns, beliefs, mind/thinking challenges will most likely become more so. It is a Maha testing of what you can deal with, a test of strength of character.
Far from the romantic stories of Sacred Initiations in ancient times, which I am quite certain were not the personal experiences of those that went through them - these days, the Initiations happen to us through our experiences and our response is our outcome.

pigs in space ! ! !

leaving home can be such a double edged sword : )
on the one hand, it's a break from the "daily grind"
yet when you come back and the place has not been taken care of to the degree that you do. . . .bummer!

moment to moment Zen

as the flyer says. . . In the context of this class, Zen is a way of being, a way of looking at things, an approach that has the intention of culminating in Enlightenment through developing one pointed focused clarity of mind and self. Science, especially through Quantum Physics is illuminating what the Great Masters have always known - our beliefs create how we think.
How and what we think directly affects our experience of life.
my direct experience of this is - the only thing I'm in control of is me & the me that I am is different in this moment than in the next - as everything is in constant change

a boon from the Masters of the Universe
people really do not get that to be a great teacher (a true master) requires:
hands-on experience of the subject matter - the more time and effort invested, the finer the outcome

- running thorough checks, tests, updates and upgrades - for greater efficiency and effectivity in presentation, demonstration and practical application
constantly working on our Self - to be a clear and balanced individual who works in harmony with anybody, under any condition or situation

depth of field
just another expression that's struck me once again. . . .
actually, this has more to do with breadth; about wideness / expansiveness of perspective as well as a deepening of dimension - don't you think?

love is. . . .
hearing someone & your heart changes. . . .
I'm not speaking of a light love or even being in love. I speak of a long drawn out love ~ a love that takes your breath away constantly, a love of many many many lifetimes.

what is your best?
Only as high as I reach can I grow.
Only as far as I seek can I go.
Only as deep as I look can I see.
Only as much as I dream can I be.
~ Karen Ravn ~

It is the Logos that enlightens everyone who comes into the world (Jn 1: 1-4, 9); the excellence which inspires Life to reach and grow; the Light which shows things as they are; the Love which holds the worlds together, and no mental idol which you put between the Divine Reason (Logos) and the world you experience. This term Logos comes from Greek philosophy and means Reason or the acting of Ideas, Order or the Intelligence of God.

aaackkk ! ! !
where are my days going? ? ?
huff! Huff! HUFF! puff! Puff! PUFF! hard to not succumb to these feelings in a life accelerated to the Nth degree. : )
We leave for Atlanta tomorrow & will be away til Nov 17. In the meantime, the girls care and schedules need to be coordinated with our community of Angels of Mercy! Matching each individual's skills & contribution with the needs of our little ones. Challenging! Thank God everyone is fully enrolled! ! !
Then there's the usual handling everything that needs to be handled while we are away - errands, chores, work loads, correspondence, etc. After which we can pack, check in, load up - vamoose! ! !

sick as a dog !
where did that saying come from, I wonder?
anyway, Oct 31 I was so so so ill - I did not know which part of me would spew next - up, down, all around! o lordy, not something I'd wish on even my worst enemies!
just glad it was so intense it was gone - mostly - by the next day
but yesterday I was just a limp noodle - totally comatose! sheesh! ! !
